Creating Content

Discovery

I always start with a client questionnaire followed by a discovery call to get up to speed on your business and objectives.

Insight

A deep dive into how you are perceived by your customers and target audiences. I usually do competitor analysis at this stage too.

Strategy

Working together on a new content strategy that will ensure you hit your objectives and arming you with plenty of new ideas, plans and tips.

Creation

Getting to work sourcing images and illustrations, taking new shot and creating all of the agreed deliverables from video to social graphics.

Roll out and refine

Once we’ve a plan and a new suite of killer content, it’s time to get it live, get tracking and refining to create optimal engagement.

Ongoing support

There will often, be things required, further to the initial project and so I’m available for ongoing help and support or providing updates templates

How long does the process take?

Depending on where you are on your brand journey and how much content you already create this can vary. It usually take a few weeks to do the Discovery, `Insight and Strategy but then the timings are largely down to you and your campaigns and the level of support needed.


Can you design templates?

Yes, I really believe that to create a successful brand you need consistency but appreciate that this can be difficult to manage day to day. I can provide suites of on brand templates in easy to use software like Canva making it effortless for businesses to create on brand materials themselves without needing a designer every time.


How much does it cost?

Every project is different, and the deliverables always vary from client to client. The best thing is to have an initial call so I can find out more about your challenges and provide a range of options depending on your budget. I can also introduce other specialists, offer payment plans and daily rates.


Do you build websites?

I can build simple, effective, on brand websites in squarespace as part of the branding project as the website is usually one of the most important brand assets. These sites are really easy for you to maintain and update yourself. If your requirements are more complicated, for example e-commerce sites, I can put you in touch with some great developers.


Do you work with other creatives?

Absolutely. I am a big advocate of getting the right specialists together to form a crack team. I’ve plenty of experience of working with designers and creative agencies of all sizes and will be able to advise at which points you’ll gain maximum value from my skillset. I also freelance for agencies when they need a brand specialist.


Will you manage my social accounts?

I can provide social media strategies, content plans and templates but I don’t manage accounts for others. I believe social accounts should ideally be managed by those who know the business best as its a relationship not a broadcast. If this is not possible for you, I know some fantastic freelancers who can provide this service.
