mY Mission
All businesses have a story that makes them unique and marketable.
I’m here to help you uncover and tell that story in the most effective and engaging way possible in order to grow your business.
Research shows that messages delivered as stories are 22 times more memorable than those delivered as facts! I see my role as both discovering the stories behind a business and using these to create strategies that enable them to sell more of their products or services but equally importantly to develop a narrative that can be woven through everything the business does, driving how the people within it feel and behave.
My Background
I've always been fascinated by stories both in words and pictures and as a child growing up I constantly read, drew and wrote stories.
I also grew up with a Dad who ran an advertising agency, so from an early age I really appreciated how stories could sell products and services.
As an adult I've worked on brands across several industries including property, travel, technology, retail and ecommerce. I worked as a Brand Director for a large property business (Bruntwood) for many years and also held roles there across marketing, customer experience and retail which gave me a really broad grounding.
The stories we tell was created after I left my job to follow my passion to support small to medium businesses on a more personal level. I love to work with those who either don't have the time or resource to focus on their brand and marketing, or who have some marketing resource but need some short term strategic direction.

Businesses need action as much as they need ideas. Doing what you said you’ll do, when you said and for the reasons you agreed, is the less sexy but equally important, partner to creativity
The spark you get when you really genuinely collaborate with others is priceless and the encouragement and generosity of those around me always surprises and reassures me
Brand and marketing can be full or jargon but I commit to being honest open and straightforward about the way I work and leave you with the knowledge to do it yourself
In modern life it's easy to get caught in an echo chamber of like minded thinking but some of the best and most creative ideas come from really listening to those with different perspectives
Being creative is an essential. From finding the perfect colour palette, to the less visible but equally important role of creative problem solving it’s an area I’m constantly working on
